How a roof clean works

Thick moss comes off with a stiff brush, worked gently so the shingles are not scraped.
Loose moss and debris are blown clear so the treatment reaches the shingles.
The gutters are cleaned out and the downspouts flushed, so the moss that came off the roof does not clog them.
A metered mix of sodium hypochlorite and surfactant kills the moss, mold and algae still rooted in the roof. The black streaks go with it.
We clear the grounds, rinse your plants and any siding the runoff touched, and leave nothing behind.
Pressure washing a roof strips the granules off the shingles, can cause leaks, and can void the shingle warranty. It does nothing to stop the moss growing back.
Soft washing is low pressure. A metered mix of 6% sodium hypochlorite and surfactant kills moss, mold and algae where they grow, and it is the cleaning method roofing manufacturers recommend. One treatment keeps moss off for up to 3 years.
